History abounds here. Kingston was the first capital of New York
State. The "oldest street in America" has its home
in New Paltz where the
State University campus is also located. The unique artists´
colony of Woodstock has a variety of wonderful shops and galleries. Harvest time produces our famed apples and sweet corn, followed by the fall foliage ablaze with color. Yearly events include the County Fair, Apple Festival, Garlic Festival, Shad Festival, Arts & Crafts Fair, Rosendale Street Festival and Stone House Days, to name a few. We invite you to explore Ulster County. |
